Losing a pet is never easy, but it is overwhelmingly devastating when it was preventable, caused by vet error, covered up, and brushed under the rug. Our sweet Ruby was the center of our world, she was priceless, and there is no compensation great enough. We take comfort in the memories we made together, and I hope that for those dealing with a similar loss, can find some comfort too.

Yeti tragically lost her life to MALPRACTICE before her first birthday. She will forever be loved and missed and we will remember her always. February 16, 2021- October 9, 2021

Fancy Pants came to us at 5 years old. She was lucky she was so beautiful because she was always getting into trouble. Fancy and my disabled son became inseparable. We lost her July 2020 due a case of pancreatitis that was not treated properly. The pain and heartache of losing this baby is still with us today. Life is not the same without her. She will never be forgotten.

One of my favorite memories I have of Nicholas is him sunbathing in the rose garden. It was his favorite spot in the summer. I imagine he is sunbathing among the most beautiful flowers in Heaven.

In 2013, Lightning’s early partial cruciate tear was treated not with the minimally invasive arthroscopic cruciate repair I was sold, nor with a tried-and-true procedure. Instead, without my knowledge or permission, Lightning was used as a study subject. He was treated with a new bone-cutting surgery called CBLO that was devised by well-known Texas veterinary orthopedists who were testing it on their private practice patients at the time. Only after Lightning suffered irreversible harms did I begin to comprehend what happened and how companion animal clinical trials can easily slip through a research oversight gap. I have since advocated for change to help mitigate similar risks to others.

Missing your unconditional love and playful paws, we are now apart. You’re gone to another place but I will never forget you.

Willow was the sweetest, most gentle soul and taken from us just shy of her third birthday. Sadly, she passed because of veterinarian negligence and malpractice. A simple allergy test should NOT have claimed her life. We will be forever heartbroken.

Yes it's my birthday and I'm living the life! 18 years and going strong. From severely neglected to severely spoiled!!!

Who knew there were dog/possum hybrids? But they're real! Our sweet boy was left in the woods for predators to get when his family decided to move. We were the lucky ones to adopt the kindest soul who has ever existed.

Emma's vet never told me Apoquel is an immunosuppressant drug. She had every side effect. The vet would treat with drugs for these issues, sometimes even refilling the Apoquel, still not telling me there was a connection. When she was diagnosed with cancer I finally looked it up. Always do your research and stop covering up problems with drugs. Create true health.
